
Fareford East is a busy southern region terminus with 3rd rail trackwork and a London Underground connection. Fareford East will be running in the period 1986-1994, celebrating the historic years of Network SouthEast operating on the Southern main line.

Cassiobury is a terminus station on the London Underground's Metropolitan Line. Inspired by Watford, with its scissor crossing, island platform and a stabling siding alongside, this doubling up as a run-around loop for loco-hauled trains.
Moving vehicles feature along the front of the layout using the Viessmann system alongside Radio Control cars.
Era is generally modern image, with some heritage trains thrown in the mix for fun.

Ditcheat Junction is a fictional location in Somerset, based on the Berks & Hants section of the Great Western Route. The track layout is similar to that seen at Castle Cary, with a passenger branch line, and two mainline platforms
The station sees regular mainline and branch passenger services, freight services and engineering vehicles. The occasional rail tour can also be known to call at the station.

The layout comprises a section of the clay works including facilities for loading all of the main types of china clay. This offers the potential to run a wide range of different wagon designs, many of which have been scratch built.
Along with the china clay works the layout includes a section of the Newquay branch running along the front giving additional
through freight trains along with the local passenger DMUs.

Pengwynn Crossing was originally built in 1989 by Ian Metcalfe who sold it to Bentley MRG in 1994. The layout aims to convey the atmosphere of a Cornish china clay branch. China clay is the principal traffic but a fertiliser depot and permanent way sidings provide additional operational interest together with some passenger trains.
The layout is normally operated in the period circa 1980 using the original rolling stock purchased from Ian Metcalfe which comprises of a number of kit or scratch built wagons, several detailed Lima diesel locomotives, and some railcars and DMUs with the best known of these being the yellow British Telecom DMU hand painted by Ian as the result of a bet!
Gresty Bridge is the Direct Rail Services operated depot in Crewe, modelled in 4mm scale with unique dusk lighting. Mark and his team showcase modern DRS traction on shed, alongside an array of track plant and machinery, all with working lights.

For Personal reasons, the Deadmans Lane team have had to withdraw from all shows for 2026. We will hopefully be welcoming Deadmans Lane to our 2027 Exhibition.
